I've had nothing to eat and almost nothing to drink since Monday.  I
went from 151 pounds to 142 pounds today (Friday).  The nurse checked
me out and my pulse was high.  She told me she couldn't understand why
someone would put their good heath at risk.  It didn't make any sense,
but she didn't want to hear my explanation.  Here are our reasons.

It's about taking a peaceful stand against injustice and indignity.
Having Faith in a Loving God is a big help.  It's easy to forget that
Faith sometimes.

Want serious change?  Take the time to read the historic examples at
our site, http://www.AKidsRight.Org/civil.htm.  Blacks who were beaten
or had their homes burned down for just sitting in the front of the
bus.  Women suffragettes who wouldn't eat when jailed for their
actions and had food rammed into them with a rubber hose and a funnel.
Indians who were beaten for just standing quietly.

Are we ready for that type of self sacrifice?  I believe we are
getting there.  I have my excuses.  I've been awfully busy with work
the last few months.  I suspended my actions at the Federal Building
but look, I'm in jail anyway!

I hope I can keep this up to a good conclusion, but I'm exhausted
right now and wanted to get this message out while still coherent.  If

Your help by calls and letters were invaluable the last time I went
through this.  Please write me if you can. I try to reply to everyone.

jail).  Ask them to look after me and to release me.  My next
scheduled court date is Dec. 17th.
