Murtari v. Murtari

Index No: 95M705

RJI No: 33-95-3267

The Honorable Charles T. Major

Supreme Court Justice

Onondaga County Courthouse, Room 401

401 Montgomery Street

Syracuse, NY  13202

Dear Judge Major:

I have submitted a motion regarding the conduct of psychological testing in this matter. I am concerned the appointed psychologist may not have a neutral stance in this matter and I have attached letters regarding this for your review.

I feel very uncomfortable about this, but I just didn’t know what the proper questions were to ask ahead of time -- this has made for a very awkward situation.  Adrianne was admitted to the hospital for three days at the end of October and was diagnosed with Viral Meningitis (this may have been brought on due to psychological induced weakening of the immune system).  This episode underscores the need for a thorough evaluation to be done.

Judge Major,  please understand that I did not halt testing based on some desire of mine to slow the process; indeed, I wish to get this whole thing over with so my relationship with our son can be restored!   I have genuine concerns regarding Dr. Black’s approach and attitude in this matter.  I have attempted to contact Ms. Walsh to see if we could agree on another psychologist to perform testing, but have gotten no reply.

I am really struggling without the representation of counsel.

My phone: 315-695-4422.

                                                                                                Respectfully yours,

                                                                                                John Murtari
