======================================================================

Folks,

This is a brief message just to bring your attention to
a recent Newsweek Article (http://www.kids-right.org/newsweek.htm)
from a child of divorce. This teenager asks, "...maybe it should
be a law: if you have children, you must stay near them. Or how
about some common sense? If you move away from your children, you
have to do the travelling to see them." I certainly welcome that,
and at the same time lets make it harder for a Judge to separate
a parent from their children -- and maybe protect that right with
a jury?

Regarding the planned Civil Disobedience by me (John Murtari),
planning on voluntarily imprisonment this Friday (2/19) -- I
could use a ride to the Sheriff's substation (see draft release
at http://www.kids-right.org/release_jm1.htm). I can't exactly
drive my car there -- and leave it. I could ask a family member,
but really hoped someone involved in equal custody could give
me a ride. You can just drop me off -- it doesn't require
any real involvement. If you live near to Syracuse and think you
have time on Friday morning, please call and leave a message at my
office phone (315) 635-1968, x-211

ALSO, wanted to thank the folks that contacted me after reading
my original posting. I appreciate your thoughts and concerns.
I would also welcome some critical review of the DRAFT news
release (above) to get the most effective wording. MAKE IT QUICK!

John Murtari
