My thanks to those of you who have taken the time to write and call
Senator Clinton's offices on my behalf.  I've already spent 10 days in
jail for writing "I LOVE YOU" to my son Domenic and "SEN CLINTON HELP
US" with chalk on the ground.  It hardly seems like a Federal offense?
The Federal Magistrate did not appreciate my efforts and ordered me
detained until trial (http://www.AKidsRight.Org/clinton#log),
currently scheduled for March 31st.  I'm trying to get him to move
the date so I can see my son for Spring Break.

Next Thursday is Valentine's Day.  A few years ago I had a Mom (Cathy
Hughes) join me in front of the Federal Building and we both wrote "I
LOVE YOU" to our kids in chalk.  They chose not to arrest us that day,
we even got some good TV coverage

will come forward soon and take part in an "I LOVE YOU" campaign.

Syracuse Office (ask for/leave a message for Mr. Jay Biba).  You can
also fax a letter to both.

It is beginning to make an impact.  Some responses to what we have
heard them say so far:

1) "We've had no request for a meeting" -- Repeated letters have been
mailed, FAX'd, and FedEx'd to the Senator.  Some have been delivered
in person.  We have had NO reply and NO return phone calls.

2) "The Senator doesn't come for personal meetings to Syracuse" - We
are not looking for a one-to-one meeting.  We'd like her to hear first
hand from a small group of parents,

Central New York area to meet with other business/advocacy groups.

3) "This is not a Federal issue" -- This is about getting the Civil
Rights of parents and children to be together, recognized &
protected. It should not matter what State you live in.

4) "Priority, schedule conflicts" -- Is there anything more important
and foundational to our Nation than the family?

We have a DRAFT of an idea for a grassroots efforts that captures the
goals and methods of our group.  This is a Presidential election year
and an excellent opportunity to see progress towards our goals. It
doesn't depend on 'them', it fully depends on 'us'.
