Help on Appeal

We have a member who was forced to appear "pro se" through a divorce, presently in the process of perfecting an appeal to the New York State Appellate Division, Fourth Department. A group willing to file an Amicus Curiae brief would be welcome, along with anyone who could help with legal representation. The appeal should be perfected by early October, so action is needed now! Follow the links below to get a summary of the case, all names have been changed.

Abstract of the Proceeding - A chronological legal history of the entire case.
Abstract of the Trial - A description of the trial.

This member has also written a couple of interesting letters. One letter, written to the Trial Judge, expresses his commitment to his child. The other, written to an Appellate Judge just days ago (9/19), explains his commitment to go to jail if necessary.
